Try a small idea for the weekly challenge

Hearhood's weekly challenge is a prompt for making something, not a paid competition. When a challenge is active, its text appears in Discover under Challenge of the week. Read that prompt before creating or entering a song.

Check whether a challenge is running

Open Discover and choose Challenge of the week. If it says no challenge is running, wait for a new prompt or make a practice idea privately. Do not assume a countdown, prize, judge or reward exists unless the current page explicitly provides it.

The feature uses a weekly cycle. The interface describes the week as ending Sunday night; the server changes weeks by its own clock. If a deadline matters to you, enter early rather than depending on the last minute in your local timezone.

Make a small response to the prompt

For “leave space”, you might try a drum pattern with fewer hits. For “a change of mood”, try a different chord under the same melody. These are practice examples, not announcements of an actual current challenge.

Keep an editable backup of the idea before sharing it. Use your own material or material you have permission to share. A Produce link excludes recorded takes, so check the playable card rather than assuming a vocal recording travelled with it.

Enter from your member page

Sign in, create a Produce shared-song link and find that song on your member page. Use Enter this week’s challenge when the current challenge offers it. Confirm the entry appears in the challenge view. Entering a song is a public action; you can finish your practice without entering.

Vote after listening

Eligible signed-in members have one vote per week. You can move that vote to a different entry, and you cannot vote for your own song. The entry list uses vote counts, which are community activity rather than a technical assessment or a statement about music rights.

There are no artist payouts attached to this feature. If you want feedback, ask one specific question about the idea instead of treating a low vote count as a verdict on your ability.
